Dermatology Clinic at the Forum of Young Dermatologists
We are pleased to announce that a team of young doctors from the Dermatology Clinic, led by Dr Irena Walecka (MD, PhD, MBA), attended a congress of the Youth Forum of the Polish Society of Dermatology held in Ossa near Rawa Mazowiecka on 12-13 November 2015.
The Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of the Interior in Warsaw was represented by:
- Head of the Dermatology Clinic, Dr Irena Walecka (MD, PhD, MBA) - as scientific tutor; and
- Dr. Martyn Kamont;
- Dr. Anna Kulak;
- Dr. Małgorzata Kwiatkowska;
- Dr. Patricia Wiślińska;
- Dr. Ida Yurtsever.
The doctors delivered and presented work which met with great interest among the group of young and experienced doctors from all over Poland. Dr. Patricia Wiślińska won second prize, and Dr. Małgorzata Kwiatkowska received a distinction. It is a huge success because the forum was attended by over 130 young doctors from all over Poland.
Organized by the Youth Forum of Polish Society of Dermatology, these meetings are an opportunity for physicians specializing in dermatology and young dermatologists (aged up to 35 years inclusive) with scientific tutors, to present their scientific achievements and share their experiences. Every year original clinical and experimental work is submitted to the congress.
Special thanks go to Dr. hab. n. med. Adam Reich, Associate Professor - President, and Assoc. n. med. Aleksandra Lesiak - Vice-President, for the extremely valuable initiative of holding meetings aimed at promoting young dermatologists.
